Kasp tracks how recently each candidate has been active. The colored dot next to each name helps you know who's likely to respond:

Ellie works like a virtual employee. She can wake up at scheduled times to run tasks, chat with you anytime, and receive emails.

Role Status
Each role has a status that controls what Ellie does:
Ellie actively searches for candidates, you can request introductions, and the role is promoted across job boards.
Introductions are stopped and advertising is removed from job boards. Ellie may still get in touch from time to time.
Role is completely dormant—no searching, no intros. You can unarchive it later if needed.

Kasp emails the candidate
Using the pitch you've defined for the role, Kasp explains the opportunity.
Kasp checks if they're interested
Kasp will assess whether it's a good fit based on what Kasp knows about them.
If yes, Ellie creates an intro email
Ellie will connect you both and you can take it from there.

Search vs Ellie's Picks?
Search = you find candidates. Ellie's Picks = Ellie found them for you and explains why.
What happens when I request an intro?
Ellie messages the candidate's Kasp, who emails them about your role. If they're interested, Ellie creates an intro email. See the "Introduction Flow" section above for the full flow.
What are the colored dots?
They show activity level. Green = actively job hunting. Amber = open to the right role. Grey = Kasp hasn't heard from them recently.
Can I give Ellie feedback?
Absolutely! Chat with Ellie anytime. Tell Ellie what's working and what isn't—Ellie will adjust.
