Setting Up Greenhouse with Kasp: Integration Guide

Alex Kim

Greenhouse is the most popular ATS among YC-backed and Series A-C startups. Connecting it with Kasp means candidates sourced by Ellie flow directly into your existing hiring workflow.

What the Integration Does

Push shortlisted candidates from Kasp to Greenhouse jobs automatically

Sync pipeline stages — when you advance a candidate in Kasp, their Greenhouse stage updates

Pull open jobs from Greenhouse so Ellie knows what roles you're hiring for

Receive webhook notifications when candidate stages change in Greenhouse

Setup Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Company Settings in Kasp and find the ATS Integrations section.

Step 2: Select Greenhouse as your provider and enter your Harvest API key. You can generate this in Greenhouse under Configure > Dev Center > API Credential Management. Create a new credential with "Kasp" as the description and grant it Candidate and Job permissions.

Step 3: Click "Connect" and Kasp will verify the API key by pulling your open jobs.

Step 4: Map your Kasp roles to Greenhouse jobs. This tells Ellie where to push candidates when you shortlist them.

How It Works Day-to-Day

Once connected, your workflow stays the same. Source candidates with Ellie, review them in Kasp's pipeline, and shortlist the ones you want to interview. Kasp automatically creates the candidate in Greenhouse with their profile, resume link, and Ellie's match notes attached.

When you move a candidate to "Interview" in Greenhouse, Kasp reflects that status update in your dashboard.
